Join us for a weekend retreat to explore the future of Christianity and discover how you can contribute to its transformation. This retreat aims to inspire participants to envision and actively help create a more vibrant, relevant, and spiritually alive Christianity for the future. Bro. Don Bisson will examine the complex landscape of modern Christianity, its current challenges, and the potential for renewal.
During this retreat, he will address:
The rise of fundamentalism and its impact on religious expression
The emergence of regressive theological trends
The resurgence of medieval rituals in contemporary practice
The concerning alignment of certain Christian factions with far-right ideologies and authoritarian figures.
Instead of viewing these issues as insurmountable obstacles, we will explore opportunities for growth and renewal within the Christian tradition, examining how these challenges can serve as catalysts for:
Deepening spiritual maturity
Cultivating a more nuanced and inclusive theology
Embracing the transformative power of grace.
By engaging with these critical issues, participants will be empowered to shape a faith tradition that remains true to its core values while adapting to the complexities of the modern world.
